Kraken launches mobile wallet supporting tokens, NFTs and DeFi position across multiple chains

Kraken exchange has launched mobile wallet app called Kraken Wallet supporting assets on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon and Dogecoin accroding to the company's announcement.

The new Wallet app does not hold sign-in details, email addresses or KYC information and it also hides the user IP address for advanced privacy. The firm stated that not even internal app performance analytics are collected.

The exchange also launched an institutional division possibly aiming to the spot Bitcoin ETF market. Kraken is curently the second-largest crypto exchange in the US market.

Hong Kong gives initial approval to Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs

Hong Kong approved the applications of three separate asset management firms, to start spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange traded funds.

The new ETF issuers will be Harvest Global Investments, a partnership between HasKey Capital Ltd and Bosera asset Management as well as the Hong Kong unit of China asset Management.

Custodial services will be provided by OSL Digital Securities Ltd as reported by the firm in a statement on Monday. The time of launch is still not disclosed.
